George Jennings passed away on December 19, 2007, at the Palliative Care Unit at Pasqua Hospital, Regina, Saskatchewan. George is survived by his loving wife, Joyce, his stepsons, Lorne and Gord (Karen) Houseman; grandchildren, Joel, Josh, Jared, Leah and Eric Houseman; his sisters, Norma Rabusic, Muriel Moore, MaryAnn Andree, Florence (John) Hoffort; and his brothers, Raymond (Clara) and Bill (Lucie) Jennings.
God saw him getting tired,
a cure was not to be.
So He wrapped him in His loving arms
and whispered "Come with Me".
He suffered much in silence,
his spirit did not bend.
He faced his pain with courage
until the very end.
He tried so hard to stay with us,
his fight was all in vain.
God took him to His loving home
and freed him from all pain.
